Alberta Distance Learning Centre is proud to be in partnership with
schools and jurisdictions throughout the Province of Alberta. We work
with our partners towards a common goal: the success of the student.
Schools and jurisdictions procure ADLC's educational services for various reasons:
- Limited enrolment in specific courses does not warrant hiring full-time teachers.
- Poor functioning of the student in the classroom setting and/or students at-risk.
- Parents have chosen home-schooling.
Some of the services ADLC provides:
- Internet access to progress information of current students by the coordinator/facilitator
- Interaction with students through e-mail and telephone
- Electronic claiming of CEU funding on the school's behalf
- Over-the-counter registration at several offices
Funding available for Distance Education:
- Home Education
- CEU Funding for Senior High Courses
- Blended Program
