By selecting home education, you as a parent are able to chart the course for your children's education. This means you are able to determine the resources, objectives, and methods of evaluation. You may choose to do this for all your children’s’ courses or you may want to use some print or online courses directly with ADLC.

Does home education work?

Resources can include popular names such as A Beka, Alpha Omega, Math-U-See, Saxon Math, Sonlight Curriculum, and Bob Jones. You can also create your own resources. Approaches to education can vary a lot too. One family may focus on being student-centred, another might select a more ‘back to the basics’ perspective, and maybe a third will consider a classical approach or one of many other paradigms.
