class caps for 2020-21

ADLC is in a challenging situation with increased demands for course registrations and reduced budget from Alberta Education. As such, we are advising our partner schools that ensuring high quality service levels for registering students means setting appropriate limits on overall registrations.

The ADLC Course Listing provides the most up-to-date information on available spaces for courses. However, note that hundreds of affiliations use ADLC and available spaces can fill quickly.

We encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment. However, if you are unable to register a student in a course because it is full, you have the option to add the student to the “waiting list”. Once a spot opens up, ADLC Partner Support will contact the school to process the registration. For more details, see the Enrollment Caps & Restrictions document available on the SIS Training Resources webpage.

If waiting for the preferred course is not possible, we remind you that online programming alternatives are available and found on Alberta Education’s Online Learning Directory. Pembina Hills School Division operates Vista Virtual School, and their online courses are very similar to ADLC courses. For more information on an Education Services Agreement (Interjurisdictional with PHSD, please contact Secretary-Treasurer Tracy Leigh at or phone 780-674-8504.

Please plan accordingly. We recognize this limit may adversely affect some schools.

We appreciate your understanding, cooperation and flexibility as we seek to best serve schools and their students.
