Student Success Checklist

Use the Student Success Checklist to ensure you know the key components of completing your Distance Education course.

Digital Citizenship

Distance learning requires you to communicate digitally within the online courses and some courses provide opportunities to communicate with fellow students through discussion forums.

To participate safely and effectively in your courses, we encourage you to gain an awareness of the elements of digital citizenship.

Student Code of Conduct

As an ADLC student, you are expected to cooperate with and be respectful of staff, teachers, and other students. The Student Code of Conduct outlines expectations of all ADLC students.

Graduation Requirements

Alberta High School graduation requirements can be found on the Alberta Education website.

Students with Individualized Plans (IPP) and Assessments

If any of the following documents have been produced for your learning needs, it is important that you share a copy of these documents with ADLC, so your Teacher and other staff can provide you appropriate support:

  • Individualized Program Plan (IPP)
  • Individual Student Profile (ISP)
  • Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)
  • Psychometric Assessment
  • Physician Recommendation
