What is SIS?

The Student Information System (SIS) is ADLC’s live, secure student database. Through SIS, you and your parent or guardian can view your course progress, message your ADLC teachers, and check your grades. SIS is also a tool for us at ADLC to keep track of student information, including who you are and which courses you’re taking.

Logging into SIS

The username and password that you received in your course registration email are used to log in to SIS. SIS runs best when accessed through the Google Chrome browser.

What is Moodle?

Moodle is the Learning Management System (LMS) where you’ll complete online courses or have access to interactive pieces and submission pages for print-based courses. In Moodle, you’ll access course content like readings and games, chat with your classmates in forums (where applicable), submit assignments, complete quizzes, and complete additional activities included in your course.

Logging Into Your Moodle Course

You can connect to your course after you log into SIS. There are multiple methods to connect to your course outlined in the linked directions.

If SIS is unavailable, you can log in directly to Moodle by visiting moodle.adlc.ca. Your login information for Moodle is the same as for SIS.

Help Resources for Moodle

There are many help resources for Moodle located in your online course. You can access these resources under the Resource button on your Moodle course dashboard.
