Before getting started in your courses, you’ll want to get to know two of the systems we use at ADLC:
SIS is ADLC’s live, secure student record. Through SIS, you and your parent or guardian can see where you’re at in your courses, make payments, message your teachers, or check your grades. SIS is also a tool for us at ADLC to help keep track of student information, including who you are and which courses you’re taking.
You can access SIS by clicking “Login” above and choosing “SIS”.
Moodle is the Online Learning System (OLS) where you’ll take your courses. In Moodle, you’ll access course content like readings, and games, chat with your classmates in forums, submit assignments, complete quizzes, and complete additional activities included in your course.
You can login to Moodle through SIS or by visiting moodle.adlc.ca.
Students will require one or more of the following downloads (some are course specific) to complete their online courses. Please refer to your online course requirements or often the Course Catalogue will offer information specific to a course. Some specific software requirements may include the following:
Windows: (latest versions available)
MacIntosh OSX: (latest versions available)
Check to determine if you have the required settings and plugins installed to complete your online courses.
