Getting help with lesson planning can make an incredible difference to your teaching day. We invite our Teacher Support school partners to contact their Learning Network liaison for help in making the best use of ADLC resources in the classroom.
ADLC lesson plans provide Hutterite Colony teachers, and others in multi-graded classroom situations, with resources that are user-friendly, interesting, relevant, and keep teacher planning and preparation times reasonable. These lesson plans have been designed specifically for use in multi-grade classrooms on Hutterite Colonies, but are also applicable to others.
The basic format is consistent throughout: a short, teacher-led introduction followed by independent work for students. All lesson plans establish and address outcomes from the Alberta Program of Studies, with the exceptions of those that conflict with Hutterite traditions, beliefs, and expectations.
